Balkan Dance Ensemble
Is seeking new members to join our family of young dancers ages 7-35
Our company performs throughout the Northwest and will begin to tour in upcoming seasons.
The ensemble performs in authentic costumes the traditional music, songs and dances
of all the diverse cultures of the Balkans,
including all of the former Yugoslavia, Greece and Bulgaria.
The benefits of becoming an ensemble member are many.
Ensemble membership is free, increased sports agility, quicker reaction time and footwork,
increased stamina and lower leg strength, opportunities for future travel to festivals
both domestic and internationally,
as well as being part of an interesting and fun group of people.
