Можем да ползваме парка на "first-come, first-served" принцип, което означава, че някои хора ще трябва да дойдат по-рано (преди 11:00 часа) за да запазят маси около най-отдалеченото от входа на парка оградено място. You are invited to the celebration of the Bulgarian Literacy and Culture on Sunday 23th of May at noon: This is the biggest annual gathering of the Bulgarian Community in Seattle.
Feel free to bring your own food and drink.You are welcome to use the BBQs provided in the park or bring your own. Consumption of alcoholic beverages is restricted to beer in the reserved part of the park only.

Bulgarian Brandy in Seattle

Istrum LLC, importer of Bulgarian brandy to the State of Washington, would like to inform our customers that you can now purchase Slivenska Perla as a special order from any liquor store in Washington State.

Simply visit any liquor store and ask the store cashier to fill out the form Special Order for Slivenska Perla (brand code 972362).  You pay at the time of delivery.  For more information or questions, please email us at info@istrum.com.

Helping Hands for Bulgaria

For the last five years, a group in northern Wisconsin has been providing assistance for four nursing homes and six orphanages in western Bulgaria. The founder of Helping Hands started the program after another program she ran in Sofia had finished. The original program provided assistance to some of the poorest pensioners, disabled and families from 1994-2002.

In the last five years, Helping Hands has raised money for food, medicine and heat at the institutions it helps. Several shipments with clothing, medical equipment and supplies, school supplies and other items have been assembled and sent by Helping Hands in conjunction with Orphan Grain Train. Recently, another program was started,- Babas for Babies. Several retired orphanage workers have begun to work with 8 children at the Vidin Orphanage. Helping Hands would like to expand this part of the work.

Helping Hands is a registered Bulgarian non-profit organization and is headquartered in Abbotsford, Wisconsin at Christ Lutheran Church. All who donate to Helping Hands receive a receipt as donations are tax deductible (for those who itemize on their taxes). Donations can be sent to Helping Hands c/o Christ Lutheran Church, P. O.
